Cyber Warfare over a 9/11 Symposium?

Unbelievable as it may seem, a series of emails about a public event scheduled for Wednesday, 14 July 2010--including two over this past weekend--have not reached their destinations. The explanation appears to be that the authorities, especially in the UK, do not want an event devoted to debunking the so-called "war on terror" to occur. The symposium, an evening event featuring the founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth (me), the co-founder of Muslims for 9/11 Truth (Kevin Barrett), and the celebrated jazz musician and political commentator (Gilad Atzmon), will explain why 9/11 does not justify wars in Iraq and in Afghanistan. We were able to secure perhaps the best venue in London, Friends House opposite Euston Station, but unless the public knows that it is going to take place, we may be speaking to an empty hall. Interference with emails thus appears to be the cheapest and most effective method of bringing this effort to inform the public about the use of a "false flag" attack to instill fear into the American and British public in order to manipulate them for political purposes. The stakes are very high in a case like this, which appears to be the reason that extraordinary steps are being taken to make sure it is not a success.

Now that we have the venue at Friends House, we need help promoting the event. I do not want to fly Kevin and me to London to speak to an empty hall. Are there things that the two of you can do that will bring people to Friends House for this event? Declan and Lola are ready and willing to do whatever they can to assist in this effort. Declan, in particular, is already traveling about London, visiting mosques, temples, and related organizations distributing flyers. While he is being cordially received, he is seriously concerned that Muslims especially may not come because of prayers, money or fear of surveillance. If there are any names of persons Declan might meet in order to aggressively promote this event, especially by means of email and email contacts, please let us know. If I have email addresses, I will email them myself. But we have no doubt that we need your help to make this event a success.

You can imagine my surprise that you are unable to rent rooms to Kevin and me as lodgers during our visit to London, since we have been planning this for more than six months now. But I can also appreciate the reasons why you are unable to accommodate us. Any suggestions would be most welcome, of course.


Thanks for offering to print Declan's flyers, which could be done in smaller runs. I have always understood that larger runs were less expensive per copy, so that also comes as news to me. I guess I am not current with UK printing policies. I would appreciate having your price for printing them either way.


Our symposium has a broader scope and line up, where my understanding was that you overpriced your tickets and put yourself out of business for all but the hard core. This event has different aspects, but I would be intrigued to know precisely what venue you had booked and just how you went about promoting it.


How the WTC was done remains an unresolved aspect of 9/11 research, where no one seems to know, but the possibility of Tesla-style mechanisms has recently emerged. Neils Harrit, of course, would have been focusing on the question of precisely how it was done, which bothers you, as the focus of his presentation.


What is important about the Twin Towers, no doubt, is that, even in their most observable features, their destruction debunks the official account. I wish you well with your "Starchild" and pedophelia projects. I had not anticipated sending an announcement to your list would conflict with your other projects.


I am sorry to hear that dinner with Judyth went by the boards. I thought it was a very nice gesture on your part and wish it had worked out. I find it rather amusing you would suggest that I am overworking Declan and Lola, since it is my distinct impression that they are the ones who are overworking me!


But I certainly both agree that they are "an excellent pair of human beings"!

Apologies for being slow to respond, a lot of things going on at once at the moment.


First off leaflets, whatever Declan wants me to print I'll print but it may be simpler and cheaper to go to a professional printer if large numbers are required.


Accomm: unfortunately I won't be able to put the 2/3 of you up in my house in July after all because not knowing when you were coming I agreed to a Japanese lady & her 13 year-old son coming for the whole of that month, then another couple already here who were only going to be here for 2 months have extended to August. Which actually suits me very well, I need wall-to-wall staying & paying guests these days to make up for reduced rental from 3rd/top floor s/contained studio flat where Declan and Lola reside. That one flat used to pay all my house bills...I'm not remotely mercenary and other things are far more important to me than money, especially having such an excellent pair of human beings as Declan & Lola under my roof! but still, I have to balance the books here, this house is expensive to keep as well as life generally. Hence priority has to go to visitors who can stay for several weeks rather than just one.


So I'm going to have to ask you and Kevin and the gentleman-for-one-night to run the gauntlet of London hotels or B/Bs for the 5-6 days you're here, perhaps we can find one near to here less expensive than central London, will certainly collaborate with D & L to make sure you're comfortably and conveniently accommodated, plus as cheaply as possible.


Then re. contacting the 9/11 community in London, my contacts list is very out of date because I haven't been doing 9/11 things for the past nearly three years now, have been working mainly for Make Wars History (anti-war campaign based on securing compliance with war-law), then things are suddenly getting interesting with the Starchild Project & Exopolitics, but most recently of all have become involved in the issue of child-abuse and am busy with a parliamentary campaign to expose and deal with paedophilia in public life. This is very sensitive and intensive as you can imagine and leaves little time for any other campaigning. I got a bit disenchanted with the 9/11 truth campaign to be honest as the issue seemed to be engendering so much squabbling with people taking up entrenched positions as to the physical evidence. Which was probably exactly what those who planned 9/11 intended to happen!


Quite how much the 9/11 truth movement here is in the doldrums at the moment was shown up last summer when Adrian and Francisco 2 very enterprising and energetic young events management professionals decided to mount a major 9/11 truth event in London, Kevin knows all about this because he was to have been a speaker at it! They pointedly chose 7th July as the date for the event and booked one of London's largest venues seating 1000, right in the middle of the university campus. The other speaker was Neils Harrit. They leafleted and advertised like mad for the best part of 2 months but with only 2 weeks left to go they'd only sold 20 tickets! So finally decided to pull it, in best Silverstein-speak. Instead they held a much smaller meeting in a pub for the 20 who had booked and some 20 more turned up and that was very successful but mostly the old faces, very few newcomers.


Actually come to think, wouldn't Adrian be a better person to supply the contacts list, he'll have a more up-to-date one. I gather that Declan and Lola don't know many people in the 9/11 community in London, possibly because they're being kept so horrendously busy by you, day in day out! So much so, that when Judyth was here there was no time even for us to have dinner together! although I certainly invited her. Is all this overwork and haste etc. really healthy and necessary?! So I don't know if they've been going to any of the Reinvestigate 9/11 meetings? If they have then they will have access to that list which again is newer than mine.


But of course will help network the event to the best of my ability.

Top Construction Firm: WTC Destroyed By Controlled Demolition

Respected Middle East expert and former BBC presenter Alan Hart has broken his silence on 9/11, by revealing that the world’s most prominent civil engineering company told him directly that the collapse of the twin towers was a controlled demolition.


Speaking on the Kevin Barrett show yesterday, Hart said he thought the 9/11 attack probably started as a Muslim operation headed up by Osama Bin Laden but that the plot was subsequently hijacked and carried out by Mossad agents in collusion with elements of the CIA, adding that since its formation, Israel has penetrated every Arab government and terrorist organization.


“My guess is that at an early point they said to the bad guys in the CIA – hey this operation’s running what do we do, and the zionists and the neo-cons said let’s use it,” said Hart, making reference to how top neo-cons like Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and their fellow Project For a New American Century authors had called for a “catastrophic and catalyzing event––like a new Pearl Harbor,” the year before 9/11.

“The twin towers were brought down by a controlled ground explosion, not the planes,” said Hart, adding that this view was based on his close friendship with consultants who work with the world’s leading civil engineering and construction firm.


Hart asked the company to study the collapse of the twin towers, after which they told him directly, “There’s absolutely no doubt whatsoever that the towers were brought down by a controlled ground explosion.”


Hart then explained how the five dancing Israelis seen celebrating the attack on the World Trade Center in New Jersey as it unfolded, who turned out to be Mossad agents, proves at at a minimum Israel knew the attack was going to happen. Hart went further in speculating that the planes had been fitted with transponders and that the Israelis were guiding them in to the towers.


Host Barrett pointed out that to carry out the successful controlled demolition of three of the biggest buildings in history, the conspirators would have to ensure that they were hit, making the use of remote controlled airliners a distinct possibility. In addition, Barrett mentioned the fact that he had interviewed numerous pilots who dismissed the chances of accurately guiding a huge commercial airliner into a building while flying at sea level at around 600 miles per hour, especially considering the alleged 9/11 hijackers struggled to even fly basic Cessna light aircraft.


“Sounding a chilling note, Hart added that the U.S. is in grave danger of an Israeli-instigated false-flag nuclear attack, perhaps using an American nuclear weapon stolen from Minot Air Force Base during the “loose nukes” rogue operation of August, 2007. The motive would be to trigger a U.S. war with Iran, and perhaps to finish the ethnic cleansing of Palestine under cover of war–which Hart is convinced the Zionists are planning to do as soon as the opportunity presents itself,” writes host Barrett.


Given his biography and standing, Hart’s comments are not to be taken lightly. Hart is a former Middle East Chief Correspondent for ITN News and has also presented for BBC Panorama specializing in the Middle East. He was also a war reporter in Vietnam and the first journalist to reach Suez Canal with the Israeli army in 1967. Over the decades, Hart has developed close relationships with numerous high profile political figures, including the Shah of Iran, Yasser Arafat and Shimon Peres.


Hart has been a successful author for years and has no reason to fabricate the fact that a top construction firm told him point blank that the towers were brought down in a controlled demolition.


In forwarding this information, Hart joins legions of other credible experts who to some extent or other have all publicly challenged the official 9/11 story, with many outright stating that the attacks were an inside job, people like 20-year decorated CIA veteran Robert Baer, who told a radio host that “the evidence points at” 9/11 having had aspects of being an inside job.





In addition, no less than 1198 architectural and engineering specialists have signed a petition demanding Congress re-open an official investigation into the 9/11 attack and the collapse of the twin towers.

"Dr. Cass Sunstein wants to turn off your light!" by Jerry Mazza

As Jerry Mazza explains, America appears to be entering a new "Dark Age" of thought suppression, if Barack Obama's new "Information Czar", Cass Sunstein, has his way. According to Sunstein, the people do not have the right to believe in "conspiracy theories", such as that JFK was taken out by multiple gunmen, that 9/11 was not perpetrated by 19 Islamic fundamentalists under the control of a guy in a cave off in Afghanistan, or that industrial pollution is contributing to global warming. How he could possibly know what is true or false about them is anybody's guess, since he does not appear to have studied any of them. Those are all "no nos", to this guy, who, believe it or not, is a former professor at the Harvard School of Law. The new head of "Information Technology for 'Conspiracy Theories'", if you can believe that, too, he appears to be the current administration's response to Joseph Goebbels, who controlled propaganda for The Third Reich. So a professor from Harvard Law is taking the lead in subverting the Constitution. If you thought we had made an advance by electing a president with a background in Constitutional Law, you had better think twice. As Jerry Mazza remarks, "Tom Paine must be rolling in his grave."

Paul Joseph Watson, a writer at Prison Planet whom I greatly respect, reminded us Monday that Obama Czar Wants Mandatory Government Propaganda On Political Websites. The czar is also a Harvard professor currently dishing up the pabulum for Obama’s White House that “conspiracy theories” should be banned from the Internet. So much for Harvard, Czar-Dr. Cass Sunstein and intellectual freedom.


What’s more, Sunstein wants to “legally force” Americans “to do what’s best for our society” and water down their free speech (granted by the US Constitution), by mandating websites with pop-up links to opposing government propaganda be “forcibly included on political blogs.” Could we have such pop-ups when the President is speaking, Henry Kissinger, Bibi Netanyahu, AIPAC, Larry Silverstein, NIST, Fox News, Lloyd Blankfein?


Coincidentally, the also Harvard educated constitutional lawyer now president, Barrack Obama, agrees with Sunstein and has knighted him “Head of Information Technology in the White House for ‘Conspiracy Theories,’” i.e., any political thought that doesn’t regurgitate establishment views, like Obama’s ties to the CIA at Columbia University and after to the Taliban in Afghanistan. Those who speak truth to power will be taxed or banned. I hear the clicking of jackboots as Sunstein speaks and I write.


In fact, Sunstein’s “thinking” came from a rather sullied “White Paper,” in which he talks about countering “dangerous ideas” and “taking those who disseminate such theories,” to where? Prisons like Hitler’s camps, Stalin’s Siberian gulags, today’s GITMO, rendition sites all over the world?


These dangerous ideas and/or theories would include “some held by the vast majority of Americans,” such as the incredible body of facts that prove the JFK assassination was part of a wider plot, including the CIA, Big Oil, the Mafia, the defense industry, and a combination of assassins. Sunstein is such a patent ploy for the New World Order that he should wear an “NWO” armband, perhaps a skull and bones on his lapel.


Sunstein adds to his hit list that believing “global warming is a deliberate fraud” is another theory government censorship should stomp its boot on. Frankly, whether you or I believe in global warming or not is our business and constitutional right, and not his. Sunstein calls “false and dangerous” the idea that exposure to sunlight is healthy, despite certain medical experts that agree prolonged exposure reduces risk of developing certain cancers. Again, whether it does or doesn’t is a matter for open discussion in a democratic society. Choices of credence should be made by individual physicians and lay people according to their health.


Basically this crypto-Nazi wants to dictate “the very nature of reality to Americans and that their opinions can only be voiced at best when accompanied by mandatory federal propaganda or at worst that Americans can be silenced entirely by federal decree,” as Watson writes. He also points out that our Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan argued “that the government can ban books and political pamphlets.” What’s going on there at Harvard (where Kagan served as law school dean) that cries out for such repression? Tom Paine must be turning over in his grave.





Memories of Goebbels


Frankly, Sunstein’s tonality is reminiscent of Joseph Goebbels New Year's Address for 1938-39. “This is Goebbels' . . . address to Germany, delivered on 31 December 1938. He reviews the past year, recalling repeatedly that Austria had been incorporated into Germany. Despite his claim that complainers are not worth dealing with, he devotes a major part of the speech to denouncing those who failed to share his faith in Adolf Hitler . . .”


The “complainers” that Goebbels was referencing were the intellectuals, writers, journalists, activists, the Internet bloggers and questioners of their day, who had criticized Hitler’s barbaric behavior, including the burning of the Reichstag, which Hitler and the Nazis blamed on the vision-impaired, Dutch left-wing radical Marinus van der Lubbe, who later was tried by them and beheaded. Or course, after successfully lying that the communists, not the Nazis under Goebbels’ direction did it, Hitler went on to create the “Enabling Act” which enabled the Nazis to strip away most of the civil rights of Germans, as did George Bush’s renewed USAPATRIOTACT for Americans, and which this author would like to see banned forever from our laws.

But after praising the “miracles” [read violence] that brought the Nazis to power, Goebbels went on to say, “This ability to believe is rather weak in some circles, above all in those with money and education. They may trust more in pure cold reason than a glowing idealistic heart. Our so-called intellectuals do not like to hear this, but it is true anyway. They know so much that in the end they do not know what to do with their wisdom. They can see the past, but not much of the present, and nothing at all of the future. Their imagination is insufficient to deal with a distant goal in a way such that one already thinks it achieved.” I assume that distant, imagined goal was the fall of the Third Reich a decade later, leaving Germany in ruins, poverty and disgrace, a path on which the US may be dangerously in its pursuit of world hegemony.


Goebbels continued, “They [the complainers] were also unable to believe in the victory of National Socialism while the National Socialist movement was still fighting for power. They are as little able today to believe in the greatness of our national German future. They perceive only what they can see, but not what is happening, and what will happen.”


We perceive only what we see, like the red nanothermite dust in the ruins of Ground Zero, the high-powered aerosolized military explosive that took the towers down on 9/11. But then, we also see what has happened as a result, the creation of the War on Terror, blamed on the Muslims, Osama bin Laden and box-cutter carrying hijackers, whose lies gave us the right to start our ongoing havoc, still running in Iraq, in Afghanistan, and now Pakistan, and all points south and east.


Returning to Goebbels, “That is why their carping criticisms generally focus on laughable trivialities. Whenever some unavoidable difficulty pops up, the kind of thing that always happens, they are immediately inclined to doubt everything [the administration’s 9/11 conspiracy theory] and to throw the baby out with the bath water [the truth out with blind belief]. To them difficulties are not there to be mastered, but rather to be surrendered to [lies are there to believed rather than questioned].”


Goebbels added, “One cannot make history with such quivering [questioning] people. They are only chaff in God's breath. Thankfully, they are only a thin intellectual or social upper class, particularly in the case of Germany. They are not an upper class in the sense that they govern the nation, but rather more a fact of nature like the bubbles of fat that always float on the surface of things.” Bubbles of fat floating on the surface of things? Could that be the corpulent Goering? Today’s rotund Rush Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich? I’ll work on that one.


Ergo, on mindless blasts of rhetoric like those of Goebbels, the Third Reich, meant to last a thousand years, fell into dust and disgrace in 12. The Real Reasons Nation States Institute "False-Flag" Attacks and the Context of Principles by which they Occur

Throughout history the existence and reasons for the use of "false-flag" attacks have been understood only by insiders within the highest levels of government, the military and intel. Recently, after the 9/11 attacks the Internet (World Wide Web, WWW) has allowed citizen researchers to connect the dots and dig out and share information which previously would never have been so easily discovered and so widely available.


"False-flag" attacks provide a justification for a country's leaders to use their military or special forces to attack, or enter into a war or declare war on an enemy or enemy construct, thereby providing a convenient pretext for a war which would not otherwise be acceptable to the populace of a nation-state. And some enemies are imaginary only such as the "war on drugs" where the government itself brings in and distributes the illegal drugs; or take the current "war on terror" where the US government has used its own disguised forces to pose as terrorists and at other times using "cutouts" they train, finance and direct to commit terrorist acts, sometimes with these cutout being mind kontrolled black operatives.


These self-inflicted, inside job terrorist attacks are then typically followed by the government then labeling any citizen that dissents as a "potential terrorist", and then proceeding to pass highly restrictive laws that shred the US Constitution, take away Habeas Corpus, prescribe and allow torture even of young children including the crushing of their testicles in young male children if the state deems this is necessary to gain useful intel. The US Government actually obtained opinions from its own legal counsel during the Bush 2 administration that these measures were legal and justified.


Also approved was the use of illegal, "extraordinary renditions" where suspected terrorists or dissidents labeled as such are kidnapped (even from American soil and some even US Citizens), bagged over their head, tagged, hog-tied and taken to a black site secret prison or ghost ship in a foreign country to be incarcerated, tortured and in some cases murdered, all done under the false cloak of protecting "national security". When such renditions are made within the US or it's territories, it is considered illegal by the government perpetrators for neighbors or families or any witnesses to contact media or anyone else about this (as they are so informed) and the victims are not allowed an attorney or any legal representation at all. They are considered "enemy combatants" by the government, stripped of all their rights and treated outside the Geneva Convention with no state of war having been declared against any other nation. The so-called "war" is an imaginary war waged against a convenient, phony construct that exists only as a conjured deep-cover black ops intel entity disguised as "the enemy", minimally comprised of mind kontrolled deviants who have been trained, motivated, financed, and actuated by the highest echelons within the shadow government.


And now some of the most senior US Senators are attempting to pass new laws making it legal to remove anyone's citizenship if the state suspects them of being a terrorist (no proof will be required, just the opinion of the state or state department and only a Congressional ruling would then even allow their abduction to be acknowledged and their location of imprisonment revealed. These laws if passed will allow these criminal, unconstitutional acts of kidnapping and other related crimes against humanity by government to continue and even increase in frequency across a wider spectrum of society and will permit the mass seizure of anyone who opposes the newly emergent tyranny of government, even if such opposition is completely Constitutional and within the usual rule of law. This of course suggests that the USA is now being Nazified and following a similar course to what occurred in Germany in the 1930s. Many of the phrases now being used in the newly emerging structure of government including the gun control laws being passed have been extracted from Nazi Germany, such as "homeland security". In fact, some of the gun control laws have been translated and extracted almost word for word.


It was stated by the Library of Congress in a letter to Thomas Dodd of Nuremberg Trials fame after WW2 that they had received a copy of the Nazi gun control laws and were proceeding to translate them word for word as he had requested. Interestingly, much of what was then translated has later been included in American gun control legislation. It has also been known for years that various police and intel groups have taken guns seized after arrests and resold them to gangs and inner city criminals in several major cities in the USA. This of course is perhaps just another aspect of the corruption that has become endemic to the American government at every level, but also suggests a more sinister motive than greed such as another means to generate chaos in inner cities and create a need for more government and greater police power.

It is well known in the highest circles of government that if a government increases the fear of the populace of crime, terrorism, attack or invasion by any foreign power or entity by any means, including the use of false-flag black ops, the populace will support an increase in the size of government, police and the military with larger budgets and will allow more draconian measures to be taken which restrict important societal freedoms.


These actions, regardless of the laws passed are completely unconstitutional and therefore illegal, and further constitute crimes against humanity. The Nuremberg trials clarified these issues for all future times and now are being ignored by the American government.


The Internet has been the catalyst and the vehicle for the near complete uncovering of some of the darkest secrets of how wars are truly started and how the public is motivated by psychological operations (psyops) to go along, which is the real reason "false-flag" attacks are used by governments. The use of the "false flag" attack is one of the darkest, most closely guarded secrets of Government.


A "false-flag" attack occurs when a government uses an elite special operations cadre to attack that nation-state while falsely bearing the flag of another country or group. It is a "self-inflicted wound" and is used as a psychological operation (psyop) to process the group mind or "conscience-collective" of the populace, thereby providing a base of support and a powerful motivation for that country to attack and/or declare war against the country to which the attack has been set up to appear to have been instituted by.


False-flag attacks are always deep-black, that is deep-black covert operations. This means that the presence and composition of those controlling these special operations must be hidden from the public and all other government, military and intel within that instigator's country.


There are other operations which although similar are not false-flag attacks but which are used to produce the same end result, a strong motivation in the citizenry to wage war against another entity or nation-state. One such was the long term provocation such as occurred with the Japanese which led up to the attack at Pearl Harbor where the top American Intel had full knowledge an attack was imminent and in fact had worked hard under a top secret long term plan to provoke the Japanese into making such an attack. And those in power within the US government instituted business operations many years in advance to build up Japan as an aggressive military power which would have to be stopped eventually by waging war against them, a goal which the war profiteers in control of the American Government relished.


The plan goes like this: build up your future enemy and then suddenly cut them off from their supply chain which makes great provocation. And part of the plan was to move all the aircraft carriers out of port away from the attack in advance, proving advance knowledge, and illustrating how the plan involved losing only the older ships. In addition, it is rumored naval intelligence officers took their staff and families to the mountain for a picnic, also suggesting advance knowledge. And there are the top secret documents which prove a long term provocation plan in place long before the attack, and the intel reports that the Japanese were on their way to attack Pearl Harbor. The Japanese code had been broken and the top US military command was able to decipher the Japanese communications regarding their plans.


In the last ten years a great deal of evidence has come out that this is what actually occurred to get us into WW2. Wall Street and the defense contractors need big wars to make big profits, and most governments believe they need war to maintain control over their populace. FDR and his top Admirals knew such an attack by the Japanese with at least 2,000 plus deaths of American Servicemen would be necessary to sway the American public to enter the war between England and Germany and also enter into a war with Japan, since most Americans wanted to avoid any war. And this same target number of 2,000 plus would be used as a necessary requirement in the 9/11 twin tower false-flag attacks, since it was an operational belief by the top US Government officials (neocons) involved in the planning and execution of this attack.


Take the example of Panama, Noriega was recruited as an intel asset and Iraq was built up by massive weapons sales from the U.S. and European weapon manufacturers which included bioweapons, all authorized by the highest echelons of American Government. Then it appears that Iraq was set up to invade Kuwait, according to rumors that American Ambassador April Gillespie who admitted to Saddam Hussein that Sante Fe drilling was cross drilling from Kuwait into his main oil field. And it is also rumored that Ambassador Gillespie told Saddam that if he attacked Kuwait, it would be considered an inter-arab conflict and the US would stay out of it. Iraq had been built up by American and European countries and their weapon manufacturers to wage a strong battle against Iran as a geopolitical counterforce, preventing Iran from getting too powerful. Then after this geopolitical goal was obtained it became necessary to knock Iraq back down to size, and that is where the cross drilling provocation is alleged to have been used. And don't ignore big-oil's part in all this in its never ending quest to limit production and control distribution, which includes control over pipelines and their location and ownership.


Operation "Gladio" has killed thousands of innocents over many decades.



During the second Iraq invasion by the US military and some of its Nato partners, a group of British special forces operatives dressed up as arab terrorists were caught by Iraqi security forces with a carload of bombs and were attempting to instigate a false-flag terrorist attack. They were taken to an Iraqi security forces jail where they were incarcerated until another British special forces group attacked the jail and broke them out. There was another incident in Afghanistan where a US employed very well known mercenary group was caught bringing a helicopter load of arms to the Taliban. When asked what they were doing, they stated that if there is going to be a war we need a viable enemy. Recently Geraldo Rivera of Fox news was featured in a special video report from Afghanistan interviewing a US army officer in front of an opium field. This US Army officer, a Colonel, claimed that the US Army had to protect the Afghan opium crop otherwise they would side with the Taliban. Of course this was disinformation since the Taliban are against any Opium growing and nearly eradicated it when they were in control. Many view this report as first hand direct evidence that the rumors about the US invading Afghanistan to revitalize and capture the distribution of the 550 Billion dollar (US) opium business.


It is now generally believed among citizen researchers including many retired government, military and intel that the attacks on 9/11 against the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were a false-flag attack, that is an "inside-job" instituted by the US Government as a “self-inflicted wound”--apparently with a little help from the Mossad. Astute researchers quickly discovered evidence that false-flag attacks have been used in the past such as the Gladio attacks in Italy that were so thinly disguised that those responsible were actually caught. And astute researches quickly discovered the recently declassified "Operation Northwoods" Plan of the US military to stage numerous false flag attacks against the USA bearing a false flag against Cuba. This was a sinister plan that involved blowing up an American Airliner and other grotesque murders. The actual plan can be viewed by searching it out on the web. The military was convinced it was a good idea and wanted to institute it but President Kennedy just wouldn't go along with it.





And some researchers believe that a certain part of the US Military intended to use the JFK Assassination as a false flag attack on the US from Cuba and Russia, by setting up Oswald as an assassin working on behalf of Castro and the Russians. This "mad dogs of war" faction in the US military allegedly wanted to use this as pretext to start WW3 and it is rumored that they planned to perhaps even shoot one missile at a major US city and blame it on Cuba and the Russians in order to use that as a basis to counter-attack with a full nuclear retaliatory launch. Allegedly cooler heads in the top military command prevailed and were able to prevent WW3, which they believed would result in complete devastation of all modern industrial civilization with no clear victor.


There have been many false flag attacks in history. The Nazis were believed to have used on to start WW2 by disguising their special ops as poles and attacking Germans. Nazis dressed up as poles attacked a radio station in Gleiwitz, Germany and this was used as a pretext for the Nazis to invade Poland.


And it is now well understood by researchers that the attack on the USS Liberty by Israeli jets off of the coast of Egypt was a false-flag attack under authority of Lyndon Johnson to be used as a pretext to draw the US into a war with Egypt. But due to the tremendous heroism of the crew and the top quality construction of the ship, it remained afloat and some of the crew survived to tell the story. But they were threatened and told never to talk of the incident under treat of severe sanctions. These survivors felt so threatened that only many years later did they start telling the truth publicly. And it is a most disgusting story. There is no statute of limitations on murder and the perpetrators responsible should have been tried, convicted and executed for treason and murder.





Many years afterwards, it was later admitted by Robert McNamara and others that the Gulf of Tonkin attack did not occur as reported. It is now reasonable to assume that it was fabricated by American Intel and used as a pretext for war in Vietnam and was a false-flag attack. So it is now clear that millions of needless combat deaths and related civilian deaths often occur due to the evil, deep-black covert operations of governments. When wars are started on false pretexts by used of covert, black operations, those directly responsible are actually mass murderers and evil monsters who evade justice by misuse of secrecy laws and practices. "National Security" is often invoked as a false cover for some of the most evil, horrendous crimes against humanity and the populace of citizens imaginable.


It has been proven beyond any doubt in court documents, depositions and testimony that the FBI set up the first World Trade Center attack and insisted on real explosives being used with a barrel of cyanide stolen from Champon Natural Flavoring Co. in Boca Raton, Florida. It also now known that the US Government instituted a false-flag attack at the Murrah Building to wrongly smear the American private militia movement. It is suspected that the reason Chandra Levy was murdered was because she was given a job at the Bureau of Prisons due to connections of her boyfriend Rep. Gary Condit and found out too much about McVeigh. Some researchers believe that McVeigh was a mind kontrolled intel agent and that his execution was faked.


It is also believed by some astute researchers that the American Anthrax attacks in Florida and DC were instituted by a secret deep-cover black op group which "took" the weaponized, aerosolized anthrax from Fort Detrick Army Biological Weapons Lab where it was secretly manufactured. Some who speculate who the controllers were for this operation note the fact that only Democrats and enemies of the neocons were targeted. A very interesting hypothesis indeed.

When gladio style inside job false-flag attacks are instituted, often "cutouts" are used at the most visible or base parts of the operation. Then, if the plan is uncovered these folks can be blamed. In the case of the 9/11 attacks it is rumored that Israeli intel and assets were used as the cutouts, so that if the plan was uncovered it would track back to them rather than to the high US Government officials who actually pulled the strings. Are the cutouts ever innocent? Of course not, but the senior planners and string pullers can remain hidden by directing any blame toward the cutouts if the operation is uncovered by the public, as it now has been in the case of the 9/11 attacks. So it is best not to be fooled by focusing blame on the cutouts without tracing the chain of responsibility to the highest echelon of the super-elite controllers of the "shadow government". It is here that the greatest responsibility lies and these folks are the big criminals who specialize in mass murder and crimes against humanity.


Consider this famous quotation attributed to Hermann Goering:


"Why of course the people don't want war ... But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship ... Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."


The use of false-flag attacks provides strong public motivation to make war with an enemy in direct retaliation for the supposed "first blood" drawn which was actually a "self-inflicted" wound. It is therefore a well proven and effective method of instituting a PSYOPS against the populace of any Nation-State. And as many researchers now realize that when the power of a regime is failing, either economically, or politically or both, then that regime often feels it must start a war in order to maintain power and rebuild itself economically.


And in many recent important political gatherings, such as party conventions and meetings such as G20 and other similar groups, agent provocateurs who label themselves as "anarchists" dress up as protestors and then institute mock violence against the police and often do vandalism. These provocateurs can usually be identified by their wearing of black police-type shoes and being seen meeting with police the day before the events start. And in Seattle, Washington at one of these meetings, the police dressed up as provocateurs were caught red-handed and it was admitted in several local media reports there.

And in fact, many of the current governments govern by the "provoke and punish" principal. The government brings in the illegal drugs in, distributes them as "controlled deliveries" to get "mr. big", then busts any competition, and fills the jails with drug offenders that they have helped create. This government based illegal drug trafficking has helped to build a very large private prison industry and has brought chaos to the inner cities, debasing the credibility of the minorities and preventing them from organizing and becoming prominent with a healthy societal role. A people dirtied up and disorganized by the government's illegal drugs is much easier to rule over than a politically informed, organized citizenry. And of course this allows the government to declare a "war on drugs" and greatly increase their budget and power to rule over the citizens. This "provoke and punish" orientation is used to process the group mind to support the growth of government, government power and the reduction of the rights of the citizens in order to provide safety at any cost to the "dumbed down" psyop-ed citizenry.


That is why many researchers now expect the US Government to once again institute another or more major 9/11 type false-flag attacks this year, because the US economy is still failing. And some researchers have pointed out that the August 30, 2007 incident with the nuke warheads of advanced cruise missiles fitted to a B52 and illegally transported from Minot, ND to Barksdale AFB in Louisiana. Allegedly six of the AF military whistleblowers were murdered by intel as a part of a cover-up. Is one of these warheads missing and now perhaps under control of the US Military and "off the books"? Could the US Military use this to institute the mother of all false-flag attacks upon a major US City this year? God forbid, but these people have a very bad track record and the economy is not improving substantially. So, expect anything. It just could happen.


Big government operates according to several important principals:


Principle 1-The Government gets into the big business of providing so-called large solutions to the very large seemingly-unresolvable mass social problems that they covertly created. In the rural Gemeinshaft type society with its singular moral codes which were directly enforced, justice was immediately administered and an individual's trouble was everyone's trouble. As urbanization occurred the Gesellshaft type society emerged and this has been characterized by industrialization, mass production and delayed, indirect remunerative justice and a heterogeneous society. In the Gesellshaft type society there is a different economic model operating where many new businesses arise from providing solutions to other people's trouble. In this type of society, trouble becomes business, and in many cases big business, with health insurance and other types of insurance examples of this. The super-elites running the government realized that they can increase the size of government by using the government's power to create societal problems so large that only the government has the means to solve them. Thus the government debarked on a new line of action where their first priority was creating large, seemingly insoluble problems which only could be solved with the passing of new laws giving the government more money and authority. So we have the government creating the "war on poverty", the "war on drugs" and the "war on terror", each of which occurred as a result of the government instituting covert programs to create more poverty, to bring in drugs to ruin communities and to institute false-flag terror attacks.


Principle 2: The Government specializes in massive efforts to Provoke and Punish. One of the main tasks the US government has focused on since WW2 has been to provoke the public to break any existing laws and then punishing those who do so. Typically this is accomplished by using entrapments and by controlling the providing of illegal vices for consumption by the public, then arresting those consumers of such vices. The law breakers then are "dirtied up" or compromised, and deals can be made to entice them to do undercover work, to serve as informants or to plea bargain a lesser offense. When this is done in mass with many victimless crimes, or crimes caused by the government's importation and distribution of illegal drugs, huge numbers of citizens can be jailed which has helped create a huge privatized corporate prison business. The government realized soon after the end of WW2 that it is much easier to violate the US Constitution and behave in illegal ways when the populace has been "dirtied up" in this fashion. So the result has been that instead of working to help citizens improve themselves and become good citizens who follow the rule of law and live by the US Constitution, one of the government's main goals has been to provoke the populace to violate the laws by making the temptations illegal and then providing them. This is actually a horrendous perversion of the "trick or treat" practice which typically occurs on Halloween when kids go to their neighbors to get a treat, with the symbolic threat that if no treat they will do a trick on the neighbor, such as throwing toilet paper into his trees, etc. Trick or Treat to the government however is the practice of "providing the illegal treat" followed by also providing a government "trick" i.e. arrest. It has been reported that William Casey once wrote into a letter to Ronald Reagan while he was president in response to a question of whether the US Government actually brings illegal drugs into the country. The letter answered that yes of course your government brings in illegal drugs and mentioned the "trick and treat" model, noting that no one forces a person to buy drugs, that it is of their own free will, and thus when the government provides the trick after the treat it is the buyer's sole responsibility. So it is clear that the government is in the business of providing the illegal treat followed by a trick too (in this case arrest) in mass as a means of "dirtying up society" and making it easier for the government to erode the rule of law, bypass the Constitution and grow in size, all the while nazifying itself.

Principle 3: The Government commits to massive efforts to control any and all opposition by either starting it or infiltrating any that already exists. This is done by infiltrating and taking over any existing opposition that emerges or by setting up and controlling new opposition before it can occur naturally. So you have the Ku Klux Klan being supported and populated by a near majority of undercover agent provocateurs. And the same goes for the neo Nazi groups, Elohim City, and some militia groups. Certainly this was done with the Black Panthers, and the Weather underground during the Vietnam War. Sometimes this principle results in the super-elites in government allowing and even approving of the emergence of patriotic anti-corruption private researchers who work hard to expose and publicize this government corruption which is now endemic at all levels. In some cases these "worthy opponents" are left alone or even given "leaked" documents to help them attain prominence. In this way the ruling super-elites at the highest echelons provide entertainment for themselves all the while enjoying a good contest or battle as a sport that they believe they will win due to their full-spectrum superiority. Lower level elites and cutouts that do their dirty work are not always so convinced and fear the peasants with the pitchforks if the masses become too informed. The super-elite big boys at the top have no such fears and relish the contest, just as the Greeks loved their Olympic sporting events. And if they succeed in their planned complete one world takeover (New World Order, Order of the Ages, or NWO) they plan on disposing of these cutouts and lower level bureaucrats in operations like the "night of the longknives" (operation hummingbird) and the Stalin and Mao purges (which murdered about 60 million humans), and during their planned worldwide eugenics plan to reduce the world's population by up to 80%. One part of their plan may be to foment mass civil wars all over the world, including the US and Europe to break down the existing order and help reduce the population before they begin the serious eugenics programs worldwide.


Principle 4: The Government invokes "national security" as a false cover for every type of government crime, misfeasance, malfeasance and mischief. This too frequent claim--that it is necessary to impose secrecy and make any matter “off limits” in order to preserve the security of the nation--is “the big lie” and at present there is no direct means to appeal any such actions. Even the President of the United States does not have the top security clearance required for access to the highest secrets of the Shadow Government. This practice is nothing short of mob-style thuggery, the stuff of tyrants, including the Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and the Nazi-style dictators of petty banana republic's in the western hemisphere. And yet the public has been conditioned to accept this. And there have been numerous upstanding, honest citizen witnesses who talked anyway that were convicted and jailed on trumped up charges, murdered and labeled a suicide, or "disappeared" south American death-squad style. The super-elites at the upper echelons of government hold the belief that if their most closely guarded secrets were shared with the sheeple, society would collapse because the sheeple could not handle the truth. This is a gross rationalization and always has been. The fact of the matter is that if the sheeple ever rose up and became "we the people" of the US Constitution once again, the extreme criminal acts of the super-elite government controllers would be fully exposed and they would be brought to justice one way or another by the citizens, even if it resorted to "pitchforks". The invocation of the false cloak of national security is used by government to stifle all serious investigation of government crimes and wrongdoings. This one practice alone has allowed the government to operate as a criminal state with no oversight and this practice must be changed if rule of law can ever be established again. Is there ever a need for keeping state secrets? Only rarely is such justified such as for government passkey codes for tax receipt bank accounts, launch codes for nuclear weapons and that is about it. As Professor Marshall McCluhen once stated, national security is needed only for the small secrets, the big ones are protected by the public's incredulity. What would normally be a serious criminal act is defined as necessary in order to protect the nation's security, and this big lie is used as a rationalization to have special ops commit murder at the government's direction, labeling it as protecting national security and therefore not a crime, but a necessary act of state. Often these murders are reported as suicide, due to the power that intel has to control investigations and the major mass media.


Principle 5: The Government allows the some of the sheeple to discover and "believe" that it commits horrible covert crimes at times, but it prevents this documentation from getting into the major mass media as complete confirmation so that the sheeple can never "know" this for sure, which creates mass cognitive dissonance in the sheeple and causes them to go away in "quiet desperation". This means that typically the even if some members of the public discover that the government has or is committing horrendous crimes, unless it was reported in the major mass media most sheeple would never be capable of fitting into their heads, because these crimes are so horrible they seem incredible. The government allows some of the sheeple to sometimes discover and believe that it does these horrendous criminal acts like murdering one of their own presidents or staging major terror events, but it never lets most of sheeple "know" it for sure because the major mass media are and extension of the super-elites that run the government and they will always support this practice. Thus the government purposely generates a state of mass cognitive dissonance in the sheeple which causes them to go away in "quiet desperation", thereby rendering them ineffective in getting involved in correcting the abuses of government. And the government and the major mass media specialize in using casuistry, sophistry and speciousness in their propaganda to keep the sheeple convinced of their "official version" of the truth in most major news matters. And this isn't usually too difficult because deep down inside when push comes to shove most folks know that to reject the social reality imposed by the "system" carries a multitude of various kinds of sanctions such as denied opportunities, rejection from others in the community, and the like. The sheeple are motivated to accept the ruling super-elites defined reality of the "king's new clothes" because there is substantial motivation to do so such as avoiding sanctions, rejection and loss that can come with such a rejection. It is usually in their interest to do so, even though long term it will likely take the nation into complete tyranny, destroy the middle class and unions and bring in two tiered oligarchy, based on upper class ruling super-elites and serfs.


Principle 6: The Government provides inducements for the sheeple to play the game "the king's new clothes" and sanctions for refusing to play it, thereby fostering a cognitive split between an artificial socially constructed reality necessary to climb the king's food change and what is actually occurring. Eventually this fantasyland "faux reality" takes on the characteristics of a "true reality" due to mass concurrence alone. And the whole time the king is actually naked! Those who want to climb the various food chains controlled by the ruling super-elites inside and outside of government (i.e. members of the shadow government), must pay homage to the king in order to climb that food chain of choice and must keep telling the king symbolically how great his new clothes are. If one who is climbing the food chain to attain success, wealth and prominence, and public or common private expression of dissent, disagreement or concern about criminal deviance of the government is paramount to telling the king he is naked and the result is that one quickly finds himself knocked out of the food chain or worse depending on the seriousness of the "infraction". In almost all areas of government, any such infraction usually results in one's being fired, demoted or worse, and is surely an end to any career in government.

Principle 7: The Government works hard according to well developed plans to destroy basic American values which hold the country together, to generate chaos and tomake strategic moves to cause the populace to lose all respect for the government in general and its bureaucrats, thereby making it much easier for the populace to later accept a newly emergent New World Order (NWO) that the Government is actually building in secret. Government super-elites work hard to turn every institution of society "upside down", works to instill systems to label as good evil and label evil as good at every level, appoints doofuses in the highest positions i.e. truly absurd cartoon characters who are deeply impaired and morally compromised and/or perverted to assist in this mission, goes to extreme limits to abuse its power to bring in immigrants faster than they can be merged into the society and culture, and works hard to erode the culture, language and borders of the USA, thereby destroying the common values, culture and language that have held the country together and maintained the prominence of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights as a basis of government as was set up by the Founding Fathers. When an absurd doofus is appointed to a high position such as head of Homeland Insecurity, this is obvious to most normal citizens who feel confused as to how such an unqualified, cartoon character could ever be appointed. It seems to make no sense at all, especially when the doofus makes decisions which are contrary to normally expected practice and smack of immorality and perversion. This includes making statements which trash the Constitution and refusing to enforce pre-existing laws, while pushing to pass overly restrictive, freedom-robbing laws. J. Edgar Mary, head of the American Secret Police for many, many years, was one of these legendary doofuses, and yet his ability to blackmail compromised politicians and use of death squads kept most politicians and many groups in society terrorized, especially with his highly illegal use of cointelpro. And the former Attorney General who blatantly murdered so many innocent women and children at Waco, another truly absurd individual who was completely unqualified for office.


Other absurd doofuses have included attorney generals who have given legal opinions that "extraordinary renditions" to black prison sites, and torture was legal and Constitutional. Often the public feels as if the appointment of these truly absurd cartoon characters was just somehow a mistake, a slight aberration. Not so, these appointments are always carefully planned at the highest level of government to help turn everything upside down, destroy the society and the nations and to undermine the Constitution and Bill of Rights. And for over 50 years, it is clear the government has done almost everything it can to undermine American industry, and destroy the middle class, and pass freedom-robbing laws which require the citizen to get a permit for almost everything which used to be legal. The government works hard to generate chaos at every level. This is of course no coincidence. The super-elites are all participants in the esoteric occult secret societies which share the common belief and motto, "order ab chaos", or order arises from chaos. Thus these super-elites that control the shadow government truly believe that by generating chaos they are working hard to bring in a New World Order, i.e. a new one world government they will run.


It seems at times if all is lost and everything is hopeless for the common citizen in America. However this is not the case, thanks to the power of the internet (world wide web, WWW). It is rumored that the top experts at DARPA who designed the web sold it to government and intel as the world's biggest spy tool but actually had a secret agenda, hoping that the web would be the means to expose and erode the Shadow Government who they secretly despised. It is rumored that many of these top these top scientists at DARPA understood that the Shadow Government is currently the true government running the USA and is covert or "hidden in plain sight", all the while simultaneously allowing the visible government in DC to do its dirty work and present a visible decoy for public attention. And this result has been occurring in spades, so much so that recently there have been anxious discussions among the super-elites of the necessity to drastically censor the web. This would not be easily done and most likely the government would have to institute one or more 9/11 type "inside jobs" in order to declare martial law and clamp down on all free speech via the web. And these super-elites realize there could be very significant blow back from staging such attacks since many citizens are catching on to this tactic and a large proportion of the populace has become very attached to idea of the internet, and to the degree that many have stopped using almost all of the regular mainstream network major mass media. And that is why so many newspapers that refuse to publish the truth are near bankruptcy and so many TV networks are having serious financial difficulties. The populace is getting very tired of the government distributed talking points that are dispensed in unison by all the major mass media. The gig is about up for the major mass media.


It is important to realize that there are many very good, very honest upstanding, people loving family oriented folks in every part of the government, the military, intel and all bureaucracies and police departments who are sincerely committed to obeying the US Constitution, Bill of Rights and protecting basic freedoms. These folks are abhorred by the criminal acts of the government and hope to see them come to an end. At present most are stuck in a holding pattern, unwilling to speak up which would be sure career suicide. If however the government moves to institute martial law and imprison large groups of dissidents, patriots, gun owners, or attempts to confiscate all gun owners, many of these folks will turn on the government in a new york minute. And many of these folks leak documents that provide useful information to various web hosts who are now exposing the truth about the criminal syndicate running the US Government, i.e. which expose the shadow government. Many of these honest officials will not act until the public at large in mass starts demanding a broad based clean up in government at every level which may be occur if the economy continues to worsen.

And be clear about this, the web has been a potent nexus of truth within many countries and cultures among freedom loving individuals who despise government tyranny in any form. The internet has created the greatest exposure of the criminal acts of the super-elites running many different governments around the world and itself is becoming a great stimulus to clean out corruption at every level. Only the increased vigilance and involvement of a very informed public can stop this kind of evil operations instituted by the highest echelons of the super-elites who control the government, the military, intel, privatized corporate intel, defense contractors, the large international merchant banks, and mercenary groups (i.e. the shadow government). And that is why it is so important that the public becomes informed of these deep secrets of governments that have gone black and evil to the core.


The shadow government is the actual controlling covert government which actually functions as a big, unelected rico crime syndicate that has invoked and used the false cloak of "national security" since WW2 to seize unrestricted power. It actually evolved from the private intel web surrounding United Fruit and the law firm Sullivan and Cromwell (called "the company" or "the octopus"), and finally morphed into the military industrial complex after WW2 that Eisenhower warned of in his last presidential speech. JFK tried to make the country promote the interests of all the people, which is why he was taken out. And successive presidents have known they are acting on borrowed-time.

What is good for Goldman Sachs is bad for the world

Excuse me, Charlie Wilson, for parodying your 1955 line as chairman of General Motors that “What is good for General Motors is good for America.” Especially since 53 years later GM’s stock is at an all-time low with little prospect of zooming back up.


It seems that dinosaur GM helped extinct itself through a series of errors. They are well documented by financial trader Adam Hewison, co-founder of the MarketClub.com, in his linked article and DVD. The errors include developing an electric car in 1996 when gas was $1.28 a gallon, naming the battery powered car the EV1, then scrapping it in 2002 when prices were climbing to $4 a gallon. Oops!


GM killed the “Golden Goose” because the EV1 had few parts to fail, so parts’ sales and cash flow would tank for GM. The other part of their fuzzy thinking was that producing a car with zero emissions was admitting all other cars spewed out dirty emissions that polluted the planet. So, in this case they shorted their own long-range chances to corner the car market with short-term, short-sighted profit taking, which took a huge hit anyway.


Secondly, GM sold the advanced battery technology they bought from Ovinic’s NiMD battery. It produced a stronger, longer-lasting charge and was a perfect battery for the second generation of EV1 cars. Thirdly, GM sold this revolutionary battery technology along with the patent to Texaco, later swallowed by Chevron, which now owns both, duh! So, as easy as 1, 2, 3, GM put itself and America in the auto technology crapper.


Let this serve as a cautionary tale for Goldman Sachs as to how swiftly high and mighty (too big to fail) corporations can fall and fail through just plain stupid, heartless, not to mention greedy thinking. For example, GS has turned off investors mightily through copies of emails like the following, which were noted zinging around traders’ desks, quoted by Danny Schecter at BuzzFlash.com: “We are Wall Street. It’s our job to make money. Whether it’s a commodity, stock, bond, or some hypothetical piece of fake paper, it doesn’t matter. We would trade baseball cards if it were profitable . . . Go ahead and continue to take us down, but you’re only going to hurt yourselves. What’s going to happen when we can’t find jobs on the Street anymore? Guess what: We’re going to take yours.”


How’s that for contrition? Here’s another beauty. “We aren’t dinosaurs. We are smarter and more vicious than that, and we are going to survive.” And survive (if you do) probably over a lot of dead bodies.


These statements were made in response to a recent 15,000-person march on Wall Street, specifically Goldman Sachs, to protest their illegal, immoral, and world-economy busting techniques. For instance, Goldman became a “bank holding company” overnight in 2008 to gobble up some of the bank bailout. Previous to that, GS was an investment bank whose assets ran in the trillions. They included many millions made with the ill-gotten “synthetic CDOs” (collateralized debt obligations) synthesized from the hand-picked, most bound to fail debt paper, then sold to clients as bona fide investment vehicles, all while Goldman was hedging (betting against) them to fail.


This sicced Congress on their tail. The mere mention of it led to a $21 billion loss in value of Goldman’s shares. Ironically, some analysts downgraded Goldman ratings the way they downgraded Greece’s earlier in the week.





Earlier in his article, Schechter mentions some relevant financial history, “Never mind that 1,000+ bankers went to prison after the S&L crisis. That was then, and this is now, nearly ten years after the financial services industry pulled off a costly legislative coup through lobbying and campaign contributions to erode regulations and decriminalize the playing field. With a major advertising campaign in a complicit media, they packaged their agendas in the language of modernization and innovation. They got laws gutted and prosecutors defunded.


“As their profits rose and the bubble boomed, they seemed to do no wrong until small blemishes like the Enron and WorldCom scandals tarnished their image.


“Over the years, Goldman was riding high, raking in major profits and paying themselves obscenely well. That is until the SEC filed a civil complaint alleging a fraudulent transaction that deceived investors. That was followed by turbulent hearings on the Hill where Senator Carl Levin kept repeating an internal reference to ‘shitty’ deals the firm is said to have peddled and then bet against.”


Make note that Schecter mentions yesterday’s “too big to fail” Enron which fell as fast as 9/11’s Tower Seven into its footprint. But Enron left thousands of its employees without their pensions and many of its top executives with long-term jail sentences, plus CEO Kenny Boy Lay with a casket (if he was really in it). At least he’s out of the way. One wonders if Goldman’s CEO Lloyd Blankfein ever imagines himself in a pine suit, a result of his own criminal cleverness.


Enron’s tumble also brought about the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, which made CEOs and other members of top management liable for the policies and actions of the companies they led. Yet there has been a significant amount of successful shoulder shrugging among top executives of the Big Six investment banks’ involvement in the 2008 financial collapse. And Michael Oxley has gone over to work for the other side. Perhaps the tide is changing and everything that rises on it falls on it.


Yet, Ellen Brown, writing in Stock Market Collapse: More Goldman Market Rigging provides some warnings, “Last week, Goldman Sachs was on the congressional hot seat, grilled for fraud in its sale of complicated financial products called ‘synthetic CDOs.’ This week the heat was off, as all eyes turned to the attack of the shorts on Greek sovereign debt and the dire threat of a sovereign Greek default. By Thursday, Goldman’s fraud had slipped from the headlines and Congress had been cowed into throwing in the towel on its campaign to break up the too-big-to-fail banks. On Friday, Goldman was in settlement talks with the SEC.”


She concludes “Goldman and Wall Street reign. Congress appears helpless to discipline the big banks, just as the European Central Bank appears helpless to prevent the collapse of the European Union . . . Or are they?”



The Money Masters - How International Bankers Gained Control of America


What follows is Goldman’s tale of short-selling in the Greek bond market, “following a highly suspicious” downgrading of Greek debt by Moody’s on Monday. The rating agencies have long been thought to be in the pocket of Wall Street and seemed tuned to jolt stocks or bonds to leap or stumble. Result: extreme market reactions. Also, the Greek downgrade came out of the blue because the European Central Bank and International Monetary Fund had just pledged 120 billion Euros to avoid debt default in Greece.


Then markets were whipped more last Thursday with the US stock market suddenly spiking down 1,000 points, regaining all but 300 points by end of day. The finagling was so stark that Maria Bartiromo winced on CNBC, “That is ridiculous. This really sounds like market manipulation to me.”


Of course the one company that uses high-frequency trading programs to make up 70 percent of market trading is Goldman Sachs, the leader in the new casino game. Rolling Stone’s Matt Taibbi claims Goldman has been “engineering every market manipulation since the Great Depression.” Ellen Brown thinks that Goldman has to get its way or everyone else will pay in a flash market crash. There are ample automated market technologies to handle this “turbocharged market manipulation.”


This leaves “The Nuclear Option,” that is, the European Central Bank monetizing Greece and other EU countries’ debt by printing money, then buying the debt at very low interest rates. The upside is that it would blow up hedge funds and “electronic sharks” that Goldman runs, along with other Wall Street carnivores whose favorite dish is taking down corporations, even countries for their strategic and profit-pouring schemes.


The question is will the EU go through with this plan. If not, the larger question is when and how will Goldman Sachs get its true comeuppance. That is, before toppling the world economy one more time. Then like GM, will it come begging at the US taxpayers’ bank bailout window for more. And more for Goldman means less for the world economic system. And that means less for you and I and everyone else.

"Using Alleged Terrorism to Escalate Wars and Homeland Repression" By Steve Lendman

Much about the New York bomb incident is worrisome, besides the media already pronouncing sentence, biasing future jurors to convict or face the wrath of public opinion, their communities, friends and even family. As a result, Faisal Shahzad doesn't stand a chance, guilty or innocent, regardless of his alleged confession and the plausibility that he was set up - used as a convenient dupe with his device rigged not to go off but to emit smoke to be found. Why not given America's history of using false flag incidents for political advantage.


Again, the possibility is real, given the incident's similarity to the Christmas 2009 airline one involving Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. He was also used as a convenient dupe, his explosive device no more powerful than a firecracker.


Understand also how involved CIA operatives and assets are globally, especially in Eurasia. Pakistan's ISI (its intelligence service) is a de facto adjunct, both working together destabilizing the region for US geopolitical interests. So-called terror incidents in America or the West are directly connected, perhaps the New York one the latest using Shahzad as a convenient dupe.


Inflammatory Political Rhetoric


On May 4, political venom spewed from New York, Washington and elsewhere, including Mayor Michael Bloomberg calling Shahzad a "homegrown terrorist with a political agenda," and New York Governor David Paterson, the White House, and Attorney General Eric Holder calling the incident a terrorist act, Holder saying in a May 4 news conference:


"We anticipate charging (Faisal Shahzad) with an act of terrorism transcending national borders, attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction, use of a destructive device during the commission of another crime, and explosives....Based on what we know so far, it is clear that this was a terrorist plot aimed at murdering Americans in one of the busiest places in the country.....


Make no mistake - although this car bomb failed to properly detonate - this plot was a serious attempt. If successful, it could have" been a mass casualty event. (It's) a stark reminder of the reality we face today in this country....a constant threat from those who wish to do us harm simply because of our way of life."


He went on to cite terrorist networks, lone agents at home and abroad, the continued threat as a result, and implication, of course, for needing stern measures, including sacrificing (more) liberty for security, mindless of Benjamin Franklin once saying that "Those who would sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither," and won't get them because the scheme is to deny them.


At the same news conference, New York Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly reminded attendees of the 1993 World Trade Center incident, adding:


"I think New Yorkers can rest a little easier today, and that's due in no small measure to the investigative muscle of FBI agents and New York City police detectives (as well as JFK Airport) customs officials."


Perhaps they had advance knowledge. Perhaps also the likelihood of more repressive laws, stepped up militarism and wars, stripping social services to pay for them, and distracting public attention from the looming Gulf disaster, Goldman Sachs, and impending financial reform to institutionalize business as usual, while claiming real change.


Provocative Media Reports





Besides inflammatory round-the-clock TV and radio reports, The New York Times, like other corporate publications, left no doubt where it stands.


In a Shahzad profile, it stressed his role in a terrorist plot, citing a criminal complaint that "militant strongholds" gave him bomb-making training in Pakistan, and that he's been charged with conspiring to use "weapons of mass destruction" - hardly an apt description for gasoline, propane, firecrackers and fertilizer not considered by The Times.


It also said the car he "apparently" drove to the airport was found with a "Kel-Tech 9 millimeter pistol, with a folding stock and a rifle barrel, along with several spare magazines of ammunition." How convenient to be easily found in plain sight.


Born in Pakistan, Shahzad is a naturalized US citizen with a University of Bridgeport, CT bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering as well as an MBA. Before resigning in mid-2009, he worked as a junior financial analyst for Affinion Group (a marketing services company) in Norwalk, CT. Authorities said he was unemployed at the time of his arrest. They also said he confessed and is cooperating. He's yet to be arraigned in court.


Since the May 1 incident, The Times headlined numerous feature stories, including on May 5 by writers Mark Massetti and Scott Shane called "Evidence Mounts for Taliban Role in Car Bomb Plot," saying:



"American officials said Wednesday that it is very likely that a radical group (the Taliban) once thought unable to attack the United States played a role in the bombing attempt in Times Square, elevating concerns about whether other militant groups could deliver at least a glancing blow on American soil."


Remember that blaming bin Laden and Al Qaeda for 9/11, and the Taliban for sheltering them, became justification for attacking and invading Afghanistan, then Iraq 18 months later based on bogus weapons of mass destruction claims and suggesting Saddam's involvement in 9/11.


Today, the Obama administration "cautions" about the Pakistani Taliban's involvement with Shahzad, one step short of accusing them, Al Qaeda, and other so-called terrorist groups (including Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Muhammad, the Haqqani Network, and Kashmiri elements) to have pretext for stepped up war and increased homeland crackdowns, for sure coming with the public being manipulated to accept them.



Pakistani Taliban spokesperson Azam Tariq, however, claimed no involvement in the Times Square incident or information about the video claiming it. "We don't even know (Shahzad)," he said. Pakistani (ISI) intelligence officials also expressed skepticism about the Taliban's ability to attack America.


No matter, according to a May 9 AP report headlined, "Pakistani Taliban Behind Times Sq. Plot, Holder Says," quoting the Attorney General claiming it was "intimately involved" in the May 1 incident. They "directed the plot," he said on NBC's "Meet the Press" and ABC's "This Week."


That despite an unnamed Islamabad-based Western diplomat telling CBS News that "The Taliban have no demonstrated ability to strike distant places. Structurally, they are far from being a global organization like Al Qaeda," that's, in fact, a 1980s CIA creation - "Islamic brigade" (mujahideen) freedom fighters against the Soviets in Afghanistan. Today, they're America's "outside enemy," terrorists against "democratic freedoms" and the rationale for imperial wars and repressive homeland security.


Later in the day, AP reported that "Holder said changes may be needed to allow law enforcement more time to question suspected terrorists before they are told about their Miranda rights. (He) said the White House wanted to work with Congress to examine the 1966 Supreme Court" ruling to give law enforcement agents "necessary flexibility to gather information from suspects in terror cases."


For sure, this is a dangerous slippery slope down which the end game is grim - full-blown despotism once constitutional rights are ended. Post-9/11, they've been incrementally stripped away.


In a May 3 editorial titled, "Luck and Vigilance," The Times called the city "lucky this time....no one wants to bet their security on it," so to prevent a future disaster "Officials in New York and Washington also need to take a hard look at what, if anything, might have been done to head off this earlier." The implication is clear - more repressive laws, sweeping surveillance, and police state crackdowns against suspects to tell others what to expect.


Clear as well are the targets - Muslims and people of color. Rarely ever are white persons charged with terrorism, no matter the offense.


For example, white supremacist Paul Schlesselman pleaded guilty in January to conspiring to kill Barack Obama and dozens of other Blacks in 2008. He got 10 years in prison on:


"one count of conspiracy, one count of threatening to kill and inflict bodily harm upon a presidential candidate, and one count of possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence," not terrorism that surely would have been charged if he was black, Latino or especially Muslim, the main target of choice in the "war on terror."


According to AP, authorities described Schlesselman and co-defendant Daniel Cowart (awaiting sentencing) as "white supremacist skinheads who hatched a plan to go on a cross-country robbery and killing spree that would end with an attack on Obama in 2008. Their plan was to kill 88 African-Americans and behead 14 others before trying to take out Obama. The numbers 88 and 14 are symbolic in the white supremacist movement."





Proposed Homeland Crackdown Measures


They're coming so be prepared, the New York incident used as justification. On May 5, New York Times writer Scott Shane headlined, "Government Tightens No-Fly Rules," saying:


"Homeland Security officials on Wednesday ordered airlines to speed up checks of names added to the no-fly list," and to check for updates every 24 hours. Look for an expanded list ahead, and stepped up airport security, making travel even tougher, perhaps to include interrogations, body searches, and other repressive measures against anyone officials target.


Pervasive Use of Surveillance Cameras


Post-9/11, cities began installing networks of surveillance cameras in public areas downtown, at airports, in shopping areas and elsewhere. Though experts doubt their effectiveness and studies bear this out, significant privacy and civil liberties concerns are raised, including stereotyping and racial discrimination by those in charge of monitoring.


Among global cities, London by far is the most camera-surveilled with as many as 1.4 million in place, no one saying for security reasons. They're everywhere - on streets; in business, shopping, and government areas; in parks; schools; in hallways; on elevators, in cabs and police cars; even in public rest rooms, so there's no place to hide.

American cities have theirs and are adding more, a 2006 ACLU report titled, "Who's Watching?" saying post-9/11, their numbers in New York City alone "skyrocketed. And our lawmakers have failed to keep up: video surveillance cameras can be operated with almost no legal constraint or consequence," despite scant evidence they deter crime on a cost-per-crime solved basis.


For example, for every 1,000 London cameras, less than one crime per year is solved for an average cost of $30,000. At best, other cities report mixed results, but in all cases too poor to justify installation, monitoring and other associated costs.


According to AP, Chicago is the most video-surveilled city in America, former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff saying, "I don't think there is another city in the US that has as an extensive and integrated camera network...."


Over the past decade, they're everywhere across the city, including on streets, poles, buses, business and shopping areas, in train tunnels, schools, local landmarks, and elsewhere, in a network linking private and public entities to police. Yet a May 6 Chicago Tribune Steve Chapman article headlined, "Surveillance cameras a flop," said that in Chicago, New York and other cities, their results are unimpressive, and "The more cameras (and) cops watching (them), the more potential for waste."


Yet it doesn't deter zealots like Mayor Richard Daley, planning them for "almost every block," despite their high cost and low return.


After the New York bomb incident, expect that attitude throughout the country, in Manhattan for certain reported AFP's Sebastian Smith on May 4 headlining "Police cameras to flood Manhattan to prevent attacks," saying:


"New York officials say they could stop attacks like (the Times Square one) by expanding a controversial surveillance system so sensitive that it will pick even suspicious behavior" without further explanation. Mayor Bloomberg supports a high-tech system, modeled after London's "ring of steel" in its financial district. The Lower Manhattan Security Initiative way exceeds traditional surveillance. It will constantly watch, collect license plate numbers, video pedestrians and drivers, as well as detect explosives and other weapons.


A complementary system, called Operation Sentinel, will log every vehicle entering Manhattan by scanning license plates and checking for radiation.


Analytic software will analyze raw data in real time for fast results and follow-up. Alarms would signal unattended bags or a car circling a block more times than normal or operating unconventionally. It's a brave new world, a new level of privacy invasion and civil liberty intrusion, soon heading everywhere across America to a greater or lesser degree.


For the ACLU, it raises serious "privacy, speech, expression and association concerns. Troubling examples of that come from (NYPD) video archives."


Headlining "Ready.Fire.Aim!?," the ACLU highlights a growing video surveillance infrastructure with virtually no oversight or accountability, its proliferation impinging on civil liberties and personal freedom "in the most intimate, and most public, sense."


If authorities abandon these principles, everyone's rights are at risk, the ACLU saying its study documented "the nature and magnitude of the harm posed by the unregulated proliferation of video surveillance cameras." Unless new legislation balances their use against civil liberty and privacy protections, democratic freedoms will be sacrificed for public safety, that, in fact, won't be offered or gained.


Proposed Repressive Legislation and other Measures



College student Nick George was handcuffed, interrogated and jailed for hours at the airport when he tried to bring English-Arabic flash cards on the plane to study on his flight back to school. Now he is an ACLU plaintiff.


Senator Scott Brown (R. MA) will join Senator Joe Lieberman (I. CT), Rep. Jason Altimire (D. PA), and Rep. Charlie Dent (R. PA) in proposing a Terrorist Expatriation Act to strip naturalized Americans of their citizenship for having committed terrorist acts or aiding a designating foreign terrorist organization (FTO). Lieberman said persons called terrorists "should be turned over to the military" for prosecution, denying them their rights in civil courts. More on that below.


AFP reports that Senator Chuck Schumer (D. NY) signaled his support, saying: The measure "sounds like something I'd support, but I'd have to look at the legislation." Senator John McCain (R. AZ) said Americans should lose their citizenship rights "if they're designated an enemy combatant."


McCain also supports denying alleged terrorists their Miranda Rights, based on the Supreme Court's Miranda v. Arizona (1966) ruling that both inculpatory and exculpatory police-obtained statements are admissible as evidence only if defendants were informed of their right to an attorney before and during questioning, against self-incrimination, and that they understood them. Denying them is a clear violation of constitutional freedoms, being lost at an alarming rate post-9/11.


Lieberman supports McCain saying:


"The first thing you want to get from (a suspected terrorist) is information about other co-conspirators, perhaps other attacks that are planned at the same time, and then (decide) whether he should be read his Miranda rights."


With inflammatory media reports, other lawmakers from both parties may offer support when legislation is introduced, perhaps enough to get these or similar measures passed. If so, anyone charged with terrorism or conspiracy to commit it, with or without proof, will be vulnerable.


Police State Terror since 9/11

Straightaway post-9/11, George Bush signed a secret finding empowering the CIA to "Capture, Kill or Interrogate Al-Qaeda Leaders." He also authorized establishing a covert global gulag to detain and interrogate them without guidelines on proper treatment.


Other presidential directives ordered abductions, torture and indefinite detentions. In November 2001, Military Order Number 1 empowered the Executive to capture, kidnap or otherwise arrest non-citizens (and later citizens) anywhere in the world for any reason and hold them indefinitely without charge, evidence, due process or judicial fairness protections of law.


The 2006 Military Commissions Act authorized torture and sweeping unconstitutional powers to detain, interrogate and prosecute alleged suspects and collaborators (including US citizens), hold them (without evidence) indefinitely in military prisons, and deny them habeas and other legal protections.


Section 1031 of the FY 2010 Defense Authorization Act contained the 2009 Military Commissions Act, listing changes that include discarding the phrase "unlawful enemy combatant" for "unprivileged enemy belligerent." More on that below.


Seamlessly, Obama continues Bush administration practices and added others, including:


-- greater than ever surveillance;


-- ruthless political persecutions;


-- preventively detaining individuals ordered released - "who cannot be prosecuted," he said, "yet who pose a clear danger to the American people;"


-- a secret "hit list" authorizing CIA and Pentagon operatives to kill US citizens abroad based on unsubstantiated evidence they're involved in alleged plots against America or US interests;


-- weaker whisleblower protections;


-- state secrets privilege to block lawsuits by victims of rendition, torture, abuse or warrantless wiretapping; and


-- other anti-democratic measures, including continuing Patriot Act violation of First, Fourth, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendment protections, and a more repressive than ever Homeland Security apparatus.


Then on March 4, John McCain introduced S. 3081: Enemy Belligerent, Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010 to interrogate and detain "enemy belligerents who commit hostile acts against the United States to establish certain limitations on the prosecution of such belligerents, and for other purposes."


Senator Lieberman and eight Republicans co-sponsored it, a measure that if enacted will target anyone worldwide, including US citizens, on the mere suspicion that they engage in or materially support terrorism. They'll be placed in military custody, interrogated and denied their constitutional rights if designated an "unprivileged enemy belligerent" - a political, not criminal, classification that has no judicial standing in civil proceedings, ones conducted fairly, that is.


"Unprivileged enemy belligerent" status places designees in legal limbo, denies them due process in civil proceedings, and condemns them to military prosecutorial injustice with no right of appeal, even if sentenced to death. Torture-extracted testimonies will be allowed, despite their illegality and unreliability. Henceforth, judicial fairness will be null and void, replaced by political expediency that condemns innocent victims to prison hell.


Linking incidents like New York's to designated terrorist groups makes it more likely. So does suggesting guilt by supposition or alleged association, with or without proof, let alone entrapment - what the Lectric Law Library defines as:


"Enduc(ing) or persuad(ing someone) to commit a crime that he (or she) had no previous intent to commit; and the law as a matter of policy forbids conviction in such a case." If evidence "leaves a reasonable doubt whether the person had any intent to commit the crime except for inducement or persuasion....then the person is not guilty." Prosecutors "must prove beyond a reasonable doubt" that entrapment didn't occur.


On May 6, McClatchy Newspapers Jonathan Landay headlined, "US officials: No credible evidence that terrorists trained Shahzad," saying:


"Four (unnamed) intelligence and counterterrorism officials and two other US officials with knowledge of the case said 'There is nothing that confirms that any groups have been found in this (case) for certain. It's a lot of speculation at this point....at the most, (Shahzad may have) had incidental contact with a terrorist organization, and he may have been encouraged to act."


Yet media reports scream it, like the Wall Street Journal's May 5 editorial headlined, "From Peshawar to Times Square," saying:


Shahzad's arrest is "proof that the world's jihadists are still targeting the US homeland....We will no doubt learn a great deal more about Shahzad and his links to radical groups in Pakistan, where he reportedly spent several months last year, including two weeks in or around the Taliban-saturated environs of Peshawar....One regrettable part of this investigation (is that he) has been allowed to lawyer-up and told of his right to remain silent, rather than being subjected to more thorough interrogation as an enemy combatant."


Unfortunately, accounts like the above are more commonplace than exceptional, the media pronouncing sentence before indictments. They also suggest other "jihadists" lie waiting for their chance to attack, meaning Muslims, of course, at the wrong time to be one in a nation vilifying their religion, heritage, race and ethnicity.


With that cross to bear, bills like S. 3081 may pass, Miranda and citizenship Rights may be stripped, and constitutional protections rendered null and void for targets chosen not worthy to have them. When the rule of law no longer applies, police state justice follows, the path America's dangerously headed down, perhaps on a fast track.
